Ralph J. Green, American Legion Post #354, has officially moved to their new location to the VFW; Angela S. Santos, Post 4781, 9401 SW 110th Street; directly across from ‘Timber Ridge’ Medical.
Our Monthly Meetings are conducted on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, from 1400-1500, with a $5.00 Deli Luncheon offered from 1300-1400 hours. Please look for our new American Legion sign, installed at the entrance to the facility. Please join us, as we participate in volunteering with our VFW brothers and sisters.
Many Vets and their Families have inquired about retiring ‘American Flags’ that have outlived their life cycle. Anyone who desires to retire an American Flag, please bring them to our newly purposed MAIL BOX, located in back of the VFW building. A retirement ceremony for these Flags is scheduled whenever the Drop-off Box is full. A ceremony was held to retire Flags on July 13th.
