The American Legion

The American Legion is a U.S. war veterans’ organization headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is made up of state, U.S. territory, and overseas departments, and these are in turn made up of local posts. The legislative body of The American Legion is a national convention, held annually. The American Legion represents over 2 million members, and there’s strength in our numbers. We fight on Capitol Hill every day to ensure that our troops not only get the equipment and training they need to fulfill their duties but also to ensure they are treated properly and receive the benefits they deserve upon returning home.


Florida American Legion

The American Legion Department of Florida is the Nation’s Oldest, Largest and Most Active Veterans Organization. We pride ourselves in taking care of our Active Duty Service Members as well as Veterans who defended the American way of life in the past. The American Legion represents over 2 million members, and there’s strength in our numbers. US Department of Veterans Affairs

The United States Department of Veterans Affairs is a federal Cabinet-level agency that provides near-comprehensive healthcare services to eligible military veterans at VA medical centers and outpatient Motto: “To care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow, and his orphan.”


AMVETS Website

American Veterans, is a non-partisan, volunteer-led organization formed by World War II veterans of the United States military. It advocates for its members as well as for causes that its members deem helpful to the nation at large. The group holds a Federal charter under Title 36 of the United States Code.


Disabled American Veterans

The Disabled American Veterans is an organization created by the United States Congress for disabled military veterans of the United States Armed Forces that helps them and their families through various means. It currently has nearly 1.3 million members.

World War I Memorial Foundation

The National World War I Memorial is a planned memorial commemorating the service rendered by members of the United States Armed Forces in World War I.


World War II Memorial

The World War II Memorial honors the 16 million who served in the armed forces of the U.S., the more than 400,000 who died, and all who supported the war effort from home. Symbolic of the defining event of the 20th Century, the memorial is a monument to the spirit, sacrifice, and commitment of the American people. The Second World War is the only 20th Century event commemorated on the National Mall’s central axis.

Vietnam Wall

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is a 2-acre U.S. national memorial in Washington, D.C. It honors service members of the U.S. armed forces who fought in the Vietnam War, service members who died in service in Vietnam/South East Asia, and those service members who were unaccounted for during the war.
