2019 Ice Cream Social
On Sunday August 25th we had an “Old Fashion Ice Cream Social” at the VFW Post. This tradition was brought to us by the Veterans Group of Oak Run. They have done this in the past and now they came across the street to share this annual event with the VFW and the American Legion. The three organizations came together to leisurely enjoy ice cream on a hot summer day. Our ice cream was served by three ladies from Angels Care Home Health. Along with the ice cream and all the fixings was be music from the Oak Run Acoustic Jam Club, who generously offered their time and talent to perform for us. Ice cream, good friends, new friends and some music thrown in… What a great way to spend the afternoon!

Post 354 Veterans Day
American Legion Post 354 hosted a flag-raising ceremony on Veterans Day and then visited the Timber Ridge facility to help the resident veterans celebrate their day.
Memorial Day 2020
Memorial Day Flag Raising Ceremony 2020. American Legion Post 354 and Angela Santos VFW Post 4781 combined ceremony was well attended, despite the rainy weather. VFW Commander Bill Cullen was the Master of Ceremonies for a tremendous event honoring our fallen comrades.
